MEROVINGIANS, Pseudo-Imperial coinage. Circa 500-580. AV Tremissis (14.5mm, 1.43 g, 6h). Imitiating a Constantinople mint tremissis of Justinian I (527-565). Uncertain Gallic mint. IIVIISII[...], diademed and draped bust left / IΛIΛT[...], Victory advancing right, head left, holding wreath and globus cruciger. NM –; cf. Belfort 5335; cf.
